Receipt export guide
Prepare receipt records for a QuickBooks import
ReceiptBulk helps you review the source data before importing it into accounting software. It exports an expense-style QuickBooks layout; it does not connect to your QuickBooks account or guarantee that every edition accepts the same template.
1. Review the source fields
Confirm the vendor, receipt number, date and original currency. Compare tax and total with the original document, especially where a currency symbol is ambiguous or a scan is unclear.
2. Choose your actual QuickBooks import workflow
Use the template supplied by your edition and region. A bill importer may require a due date and a line tax code that are not supplied by the receipt export. Complete those fields and map columns in the importer before submitting data.
3. Test a small reviewed export
Select a few records, set the expense account and category, and save those export settings as a device-local preset. Check the imported amounts and supplier mappings in your own workflow before processing the rest of a batch.
Before you import
- Receipt number text and currency must match the source document.
- A bank transaction import is different from importing a purchase bill.
- A CSV or XLSX download does not automatically create transactions in QuickBooks.
Export option: QuickBooks preparation layout.
Try the workflow with fictional receipts
Use the public sample to compare originals, edit fields, inspect a duplicate and export CSV or Excel. Manual entry in the workspace does not use AI; an active paid pass is required for AI extraction.
